Memorial Scholarship Funds have been established in memory of Frank Lentini and Mike Rosa. Both ACO Board members for many years, Frank Lentini played the clarinet and Mike Rosa played trumpet. This year the Auburn Chamber Orchestra has combined the two funds to become the Frank Lentini and Mike Rosa Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Auburn Chamber Orchestra will award a scholarship to any orchestra member who is a High School senior entering college as a student in the field of music.

In 1995 a $500.00 scholarship was awarded to Katherine Hassard through the Frank Lentini Memorial Scholarship Fund. Katherine, of Union Springs, played the tenor trombone in the A.C.O.

In 2007, Kristopher Kooi of Auburn received a $500.00 scholarship from the Mike Rosa Memorial Scholarship Fund. Kris played the bass in the A.C.O.

Should you wish to support our efforts to nurture our future musicians, consider a donation to our Frank Lentini and Mike Rosa Scholarship Fund. Checks should be made payable to the Auburn Chamber Orchestra and marked “Scholarship Fund”. As always, gifts to the Orchestra are tax deductable.
